The Grounding Method

A clear 90-day path from surviving to steady.

Recovery doesn't happen by accident — it happens with a plan and the right support. This is a structured, deeply personal program that meets you where you are and walks with you, week by week, toward a life you actually want to live.

Who it's for

Built for real life — and real recovery

Whether you're newly sober, years in, or still deciding you're ready, the 90-day program gives you structure, accountability, and a steady partner. Delivered virtually anywhere in California or in person in Orange County — and there's a parallel track for the families who love you.

The method

Three phases. Ninety days. One steady direction.

Each 30-day phase builds on the last — stabilize what's shaky, rebuild what matters, and make it last.

Stabilize

Days 1–30 · Find your footing

First, we create safety and clarity. We get the ground under your feet steady before we build anything on top of it.

  • Intake & vision — where you are, where you want to go, what matters most
  • Stabilize the basics: sleep, structure, daily routine, environment
  • Map your triggers and your support network
  • A personal recovery plan + a simple relapse-prevention safety net

Rebuild

Days 31–60 · Build the life

With footing in place, we rebuild the parts of life addiction touched — habits, relationships, and how you see yourself.

  • Healthy coping skills for cravings, stress, and hard days
  • Rebuild relationships and set boundaries that actually hold
  • Emotional regulation and real self-compassion
  • Reconnect with purpose — work, passions, community, faith

Sustain

Days 61–90 · Make it last

Finally, we make recovery self-sustaining — so you leave with momentum, confidence, and a plan you can run on your own.

  • Design your next chapter across health, work, relationships, and meaning
  • Lock in routines and accountability you can keep without me
  • Build a personal "recovery toolkit" for the hard moments
  • Plan for setbacks so a stumble never becomes a slide

Questions about the program

Is this therapy?

No. Coaching is a forward-focused partnership — goals, accountability, and daily life in recovery. It complements clinical care and therapy; it doesn't replace them. Many clients do both.

Do I have to be sober already to start?

No. Wherever you are — considering change, newly sober, or years in — the program meets you there. The only requirement is willingness to take the next small step.

Virtual or in person?

Both. Sessions are held securely by video so you can join from anywhere in California, and in-person sessions are available locally in Orange County.

What's the time commitment?

Plan on one 60-minute session per week plus a little time for between-session check-ins and simple exercises. The rhythm is steady but realistic for a full life.
